Self Mailers As their name indicates, self mailers are constructed in such a fashion so that they require no envelope for mailing. There are several types of self mailers available. The selection of which construction to use is generally predicated by available processing equipment - Laser Printer vs. Impact Printer and/or the requirement for multiple pages. Laser Printer Mailers are single sheet forms. They process normally on most laser printers then in a secondary process are folded and sealed. Omega offers two laser self mailer constructions. For more information on these click on the following links: Impact Self Mailers are self contained sets. These sealed form sets allow the transfer of data via the use of carbon and carbonless impressions. This construction provides multiple paper ply capability, both within the mailer and outside of it. The outer plies may then be retained for record need. (More information will be available soon - We are presently building this page) Both laser and impact designs may be constructed so that a response device (return envelope, remittance stub, etc.) may be included. Additionally, there are many standard form designs available for immediate shipment. |
